Hi! My name is Denise Martinez, I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the state of Florida and I am the founder of Empowered Healing Within.

 

I am trained in EMDR and passionate about helping others overcome their fears. I primarily work with clients that experience stress, racing thoughts, uncomfortable physical symptoms (feeling on edge), anxiety and/or PTSD symptoms. I also have experience in working with women in a variety of contexts, from supporting young women focused on building their careers to mothers seeking balance and stress-reduction. I work in support of each women's personal aspirations and value systems, and help cultivate tools to manage anxiety and low self esteem.

I also have experience treating female specific issues with compassion and care, including:

• Self-esteem / Self-exploration (finding purpose in life)

As a licensed Mental Health Service Provider, I am committed to the well-being of all my clients and go above and beyond to cater to their needs. My passion is to help others find their strengths and use that tool to have them feel empowered to create transformation in their lives.

I would also like to introduce my best friend Teddy Bear The Golden Retriever. He is also my sidekick in this mental health practice. Teddy is CGC certified and is on his way to becoming a therapy dog! He loves to cuddle and make others feel safe.
